Youth and Teen Arts
Youth and teens will be able to experiment and explore with our weekly Saturday artmaking classes through a variety of approaches such as painting, drawing, crafts, sculpture, Black and Brown art history, mosaics, photography and much more. All the supplies and healthy snacks included. 2024 Dates coming Soon!
Teen Art Portfolio Prep
These classes will support youths in middle and high school interested in entering arts high schools or arts higher education. The goal is to assist in addition to in-school art classes within visual arts to build a portfolio, learn more about creative careers and arts entrepreneurship. 2024 Dates Coming Soon!

Soul Paint Nights
Soul Paint Events are a soulful vibe where adults can get together with friends and paint a collective image that allows for a relaxing, happy and rejuvenating experience accompanied with great music. Good Vibes Only! Refreshments and private shopping are included. 2024 Dates Coming soon.
Youth Library
Boston Black Market and Arts Enrichment Center offers a small, but comprehensive youth and teen library where you can purchase new and lightly used books. Along with the library youth and teens can participate creative writing and literary arts activities such as poetry writing, comic book and zine making.
Early Childhood Art and Literacy
Young readers can participate in a story time and artmaking inspired by the featured book. Each workshop includes the featured book for a fee. All the supplies and healthy snacks included. 2024 Dates Coming Soon.

Natalia (ella/she/her) is a Queer and Femme Afro-Caribbean, an intersectional ecofeminist, youth organizer, and artist based in Borikén aka Puerto Rico. She believes in the transformative and healing power of the community and how important it is to preserve oral and written stories and traditions.
During our book talk Natalia M. Villarán-Quiñones will elaborate on her creative process and participants will be able to get books signed. This talk will be live streamed via Instagram.
